CSUB has supplied several hatches for XT, manifolds, templates and ITS. Typical features for hatches are GRP locking pins and the possibility of including buoyancy elements to reduce the overall submerged weight hence making the hatch ROV operable.

Hatches in GRP provides several advantages:

• Reduced weight of overall structure
• Good impact energy absorption
• Hatches can be made subsea replaceable

Hatches can be designed to have bolt on hinges, or interface steel hinges with CSUB designed GRP hinges.
